Post-Creation Steps
Step 5 of 5 in the Token Creation Process
Congratulations!
Your token is now created on the Solana blockchain! But the journey doesn't end here. This guide will help you understand what to do next with your newly created token to ensure its success.

Add Liquidity
Adding liquidity is the most critical next step. Without liquidity, your token won't be tradable, and the revenue-sharing mechanism can't function effectively.
What is Liquidity?
Liquidity refers to the availability of your token to be bought and sold on exchanges. It's provided by creating a "liquidity pool" that pairs your token with SOL or another established token.
- Enables trading of your token
- Sets an initial market value
- Allows for transfer fees to be collected
- Creates the foundation for your token's economy
How to Add Liquidity
- Navigate to the Add Liquidity page in the RevShare platform
- Connect your wallet - use the same wallet that holds your tokens
- Select your token from the dropdown menu
- Enter the amount of tokens you want to provide as liquidity
Recommendation: Provide 40-60% of your total token supply as initial liquidity
- Add SOL to pair with your tokens - this establishes your token's initial value
- Review and confirm the transaction
Important: The initial liquidity you provide significantly impacts your token's starting price. Ensure you've calculated the desired starting price and provided appropriate liquidity amounts.
Monitor Distributions
After your token is being traded, you'll want to monitor the distribution process to ensure everything is working as expected.
Dashboard Monitoring
The RevShare platform provides a comprehensive dashboard to monitor your token's distributions:
- Track accumulated fees waiting for distribution
- View distribution history and transaction records
- Monitor eligible holder count and distribution statistics
- Analyze trading volume and transfer fee collection rates
Telegram Notifications
If you configured Telegram notifications, you'll receive automated updates when:
- A scheduled distribution is processed
- Distribution transactions are confirmed on-chain
- The system detects any issues with distributions
- Significant trading activity or fee collection occurs
Share these notifications with your community to build transparency and trust.
Build Your Community
A strong community is essential for your token's long-term success. The revenue-sharing model works best when there's active trading and engagement.
Community Building Strategies
Initial Community
- Create a clear community roadmap
- Share regular updates on social channels
- Host AMA (Ask Me Anything) sessions
- Provide educational content about your token
- Create guides on how to buy and hold
Growth Tactics
- Implement community rewards programs
- Collaborate with other crypto projects
- Attend relevant industry events
- Engage with crypto influencers
- Run targeted marketing campaigns
Transparency is crucial - keep your community informed about distributions, development progress, and any changes to your project's roadmap.
Distribution Transparency
Your token's revenue-sharing feature can be a powerful community building tool if you:
- Regularly highlight distribution statistics
- Celebrate distribution milestones (e.g., "1 million tokens distributed")
- Share analysis of how trading activity impacts distributions
- Create visual reports of distribution activity
- Highlight top contributors to trading volume
Marketing & Visibility
Increasing your token's visibility is essential for attracting new holders and generating the trading volume needed for effective revenue sharing.
Token Listings
Get your token listed in various crypto directories and tools:
- CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap - Submit an application for tracking
- Solana Ecosystem Directories - Register with Solana project lists
- DEX Token Lists - Apply to be included in decentralized exchange lists
- Wallet Directories - Ensure proper metadata for wallet display
Marketing Channels
Social Media
- Regular Twitter/X posts with hashtags
- Telegram announcements and discussions
- Reddit posts in relevant communities
- Discord server for deeper engagement
- YouTube tutorials and updates
Content Marketing
- Medium articles explaining your token
- Case studies of successful distributions
- Interviews with team members
- Infographics about tokenomics
- Educational material about revenue sharing
Best Practice: Focus on explaining the unique value of your revenue-sharing model. Many potential holders may be unfamiliar with how transfer fees and distributions work - educating them increases interest and trust.
Long-term Planning
Successful tokens require ongoing management and development. Consider these long-term strategies:
Sustainability Planning
- Treasury Management - Set aside developer fees for long-term operations
- Community Governance - Consider implementing voting mechanisms for key decisions
- Partnerships - Collaborate with other projects for mutual benefit
- Utility Expansion - Add more use cases to your token beyond revenue sharing
- Distribution Optimization - Analyze and refine distribution parameters based on data
Key Performance Indicators
Track these metrics to gauge your token's health and success:
Distribution Metrics
- Total tokens distributed
- Average distribution per holder
- Distribution frequency and consistency
- Number of eligible holders
- Fee collection growth rate
Market Metrics
- Trading volume trends
- Liquidity depth and stability
- Wallet count growth
- Holder retention rate
- Social engagement metrics
